Local women are invited to a spiritual retreat in which they’ll join with others to explore who they are in the eyes of God. The event will be held Saturday, May 20 at Bridge to Grace Church, located at 2385 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.
Entitled “The Unveiled Face: Finding Yourself in God,” the retreat will be led by Brenda Golden, MS, CAS, founder of The Agape Center for Spiritual Formation. She will lead attendees on a path of wonder and discovery as they explore who they are through the eyes of God. Participants will learn disciplines and rhythms that will open them up to the presence of God in the ordinary.
Surrounded by a nature trail and offering a wooded outdoor worship area, Bridge to Grace is a peaceful setting for reflection and renewal. Golden, who holds degrees in community counseling, Christian counseling and spiritual direction, is a co-founder of Roswell’s Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Company. Through this popular coffee shop, she and her husband strive to bring healing and reconciliation with coffee farmers in Rwanda.

“The Unveiled Face” is the third annual women’s retreat to be held at Bridge to Grace and is sponsored by the church prayer team. The day will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m. The $20 fee includes all materials and a catered lunch. Participants are encouraged to bring their Bibles—and a friend!
