  1. Two former teachers, 40-year-old Zeina Alostwani and 19-year-old Soriana Briceno, who worked at Parker-Chase Preschool in Roswell, are currently being held in Fulton County Jail and have been charged with first-degree cruelty to children for allegedly abusing children on a live school video feed on Jun. 2. The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) announced it is conducting its own investigation of the alleged abuse alongside the Roswell Police Department. Roswell Police request anyone with additional information to call 770-640-4100. (Newsweek)
  2. Local restaurants and retailers are giving away freebies or discounts on Father's Day, Jun. 19. Dads receive a free game of mini-golf at The Fringe, located at 5100 Commerce Parkway in Roswell, with the purchase of a standard child or adult ticket during Father's Day weekend.   4. Roswell's seventh annual Summer Sippin' returned on Jun. 1, with more than 50 restaurants and food and beverage partners celebrating. Roswell's first "Summer Sippin' Crawl" will be on Jun. 18, a one-day bar crawl event by Summer Sippin' and Bar Crawl USA. (Appen Media)

Park Square Court, Elizabeth Way, and Webb Street (from Canton Street to the Antique Lot Entrance) will all close at 2:00 p.m.! Antique and Interiors Lot and Webb Street will both close at 3:30 p.m.!
