Warrants were signed Wednesday, April 13 for Teresa Rains Fitzsimons of Marietta on two counts of homicide by vehicle in the second degree, driver to use care to avoid a collision, failure to maintain lane and improper lane change in connection to the March 17 incident.
Roswell police responded to the accident involving three people who were hit by a vehicle at the bus stop around 4:29 p.m. on S.R. 9/Alpharetta Street near Woodstock Street.

One resident, 55-year-old Curtis Freeman, died at the scene while another pedestrian, 41-year-old Larsharon Clark, was transported to an area hospital where she later died.
A third victim, Elfego M. Solano-Vazquez, was transported to the hospital for treatment and survived the incident. Traffic investigators determined the vehicle driven by Fitzsimons was traveling southbound on Alpharetta Street and after passing through the intersection of Woodstock Street, "she changed lanes and encountered a stopped MARTA bus," Roswell police said.
Investigators stipulate Fitzsimons swerved to avoid hitting the back of the bus, drove onto the sidewalk and allegedly hit three people waiting to get on the bus, the agency added. That vehicle then came to a rest after striking a telephone pole.
A judge has issued a $15,000 bond for Fitzsimons.
