Early Morning Fire Damages Roswell Home

Three residents were sent to the hospital for treatment following a fire that started just before daybreak Monday in Roswell.

Firefighters received a call around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 5 of a fire at a home off Warsaw Road, said Roswell fire spokesperson Paul Piccirilli.

Piccirilli said it appeared the fire was mostly contained on the lower level of the home, which suffered “moderate damage.”

The three individuals were transported to an area hospital to be evaluated. Piccirilli said investigators have not determined the cause or exact origin of the fire.
