ROSWELL, GA -- A north Fulton Target store will close in late January.
A spokesperson with the company confirmed to Patch that its Roswell East Target at 2600 Holcomb Bridge Road will close at the end of business on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017.
"The decision to close a Target store is not made lightly," said Target spokesperson Molly Snyder. "We typically decide to close a store after careful consideration of the long-term financial performance of a particular location."

The Roswell East location opened to customers in 2008, providing those on the east side of the city as well as nearby Alpharetta residents a chance to browse the store's aisles.
Snyder added any decision made to close a store comes as a result of seeing "several years of decreasing profitability."
