enAble of Georgia Holds Wine Auction Fundraiser

enAble of Georgia, a nonprofit in Fulton County that supports adults with developmental disabilities, held a successful fundraiser in July.

Roswell, Georgia: enAble of Georgia Foundation, Inc., the fundraising arm of enAble of Georgia, Inc., sponsored its Wine Auction on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the home of Michelle & Tom Davis, the former estate of Chipper Jones.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and to raise funds to support the vital programs offered by enAble of Georgia, Inc. (enAble), the foundation’s parent organization. enAble’s mission since inception in 1979 is to “support people with special needs to lead fulfilled lives”. The event featured a live auction, a fund-a-need event, and heavy hors d’oeuvres offered by Hicham Azhari of Little Alley Steak of Roswell. The event was a huge success, netting over $85,000 for the organization, which is a 40% increase from its previous Wine Auction.
Auction items of top-notch wine, items and experiences, were donated by enAble’s board members, supporters and local businesses.

The next planned event for enAble of Georgia is our 21st Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held at Alpharetta Athletic Club on Tuesday, October 6th. enAble of Georgia’s “Dare to Dream” Gala is another great event that supports enAble’s programs. The event will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center. For information on any of these events, please visit our website at www.enablega.org.
