enAble of Georgia Summer Wine Auction Success!
Fundraiser for enAble of Georgia and the adults with developmental disabilities that are supported by the nonprofit was a great success.
enAble of Georgia’s Summer Wine Auction
Roswell, Georgia – August 10, 2016 –enAble of Georgia (enAble) held its 8th Summer Wine Auction on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Roswell home of Tom and Michelle Davis. The event was attended by over 100 supporters and raised over $90,000 for the adults with developmental disabilities that enAble of Georgia serves. All net proceeds from the event will allow enAble to continue to follow its mission, to support adults with developmental disabilities to live fulfilled lives—physically, intellectually and socially.
Thank you to Little Alley Steaks and Chef Tony Manns for donating their time, talent and delicious hors d’oeuvres for the guests to enjoy. A huge thank you to the many donors for donating the twenty-eight exciting auction packages guests had the opportunity to bid on. The packages included travel, specialty wines, art, furniture, wine tastings, experiences and much more. A few of our generous donors: At-Pac, Brown & Co. enAble of Georgia is a 501(c)(3) that was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned parents unsure of the future of their adult aged children with developmental disabilities after high school. enAble currently supports 120 individuals in Fulton County with residential, day services and supported employment programs.
