Exhibit Features Work of Respected North Fulton Artists

Roswell, GA -- Residents, stakeholders and visitors will be able to take in some of the works by two of North Fulton’s highly regarded artists -- Joan Hilliard and Barry Etris -- at the Roswell Visitors Center.

The exhibit features originals available for purchase, as well as a selection of prints for everyone to enjoy through the month of February.

Hilliard is an outstanding artist whose work is showcased in galleries and sought by collectors.

She was selected to create an ornament that was featured on one of the White House Christmas trees. Her work is in high demand and she generously uses her talents to benefit many charities and causes as well as mentoring and encouraging young artists.

She and a group of artists have recently opened My Studio near the Historic Town Square in Roswell. Her works on display at the Visitors Center include the Chattahoochee River in winter.

Etris is a highly recognized as a songwriter whose most famous song “Reuben James” was recorded by Kenny Rogers, Conway Twitty, Jerry Lee Lewis and others, selling in excess of 38 million copies worldwide. He is also an accomplished visual artists with works in numerous private and public collections.

On display at the Roswell Visitors Center are his original drawings of Reuben James, Lum Crow and a selection of paintings.

The Roswell Visitors Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and nooon to 3 p.m. Sundays. It is located at 617 Atlanta Street.
