Planning a vacation has just become a lot easier for families in Roswell. With the desire and expertise to help their community find the right vacation, local entrepreneurs Reid and Christy Trego will open a new Expedia CruiseShipCenters franchise at 725 W. Crossville Rd by mid-June.

This will be the first location for Reid and Christy Trego, who are residents of Woodstock. The couple previously spent over a decade as owners and operators of a local tutoring franchise in Woodstock, which kept them so busy that vacations became the only real “family time” they could spend with their children. They quickly became avid vacationers, which sprouted in them a passion for travel. Christy in particular fell in love not only with travelling, but with the process of booking a trip. Expedia CruiseShipCenters proved to be the perfect career transition which would combine their love of travel with their desire to have more time to spend with their children. Now, the couple looks forward to helping their friends and neighbors navigate spectacular vacation experiences of their own.

According to the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), the industry shows no signs of slowing down, with nearly 24 million passengers expected to sail in 2016, a dramatic increase from 15 million just 10 years prior. CLIA notes member cruise lines are scheduled to debut 27 new ocean, river and specialty ships in 2016 for a total investment of more than $6.5 billion. In addition, travel agents are experiencing a higher demand for cruise travel, with eight out of 10 CLIA member travel agents expecting an increase in sales in 2016 over last year.
