Extra Writing Camp Added To Kids Can Write Series

The camps are being held at Roswell's Barrington Hall.

Due to the popularity of Barrington Hall’s summer creative writing camps, Kids Can Write, a third basic creative writing camp has been added for the week of July 13–17.

The other two basic creative writing summer camps are almost sold out.

Each camp will be held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The revised dates for 2015 are:

  • June 22–26 (Basic)
  • July 6–10 (Basic)
  • July 13–17 (Basic) – New
  • July 13–17 (Advanced)
  • July 20–24 (Advanced)

The camps will again by led by award-winning children’s book author and children’s writing instructor Mary Ann Rodman. Children will learn to tell their stories clearly while engaging their audience through the use of guided exercises, individual and group instruction.

The age range for campers is 10 to 14 years old. The cost per child is $250 per camp. Space is limited to 12 children maximum per camp.
