Plan a nature staycation over Fall Break
Happening September 23 - 29, 2019

Unplug, unwind, and get out in nature this fall break! Check out activities at the Chattahoochee Nature Center while the kids are out of school. Bring a picnic, hikes the trails, listen to live music, and enjoy a scheduled program. You can even extend the staycation in to the weekend and take in a guided canoe trip on the Chattahoochee River.

All month CNC is celebrating SWAPTEMBER! If you are a member of any of the participating attractions you can receive $2 off admission and discounted memberships at CNC!

Scheduled Activities
Fall Frolics in the Unity Garden - Monday-Friday at 11 am
Wildlife Feeding Time - Tuesday and Saturday at 4 pm
Creature Feature - Thursday - Sunday at 2 pm
Fall Native Plant Sale - CNC Member Only on Thursday from 4-7 pm; General Public on Friday and Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm
Sunset Sips Live Music with Wes Yoakam - Thursday at 6:30 pm (music starts at 7 pm) Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy live music along with the CNC grounds after dark
Trail Hikes - Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm and 3 pm
Guided River Canoe Trip (limited spaces remain; must register ahead of time) - Saturday and Sunday at 5 pm
Animal Encounter - Sunday 4 pm

Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures open daily! New for 2019 at the CNC an outdoor adventure playground that features an Eco Zipline and Canopy Tour. Reservations are preferred, but if space is available walk ups are allowed. (Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures requires additional fee)
