🌱 Fawn Rescued From Drain + Music On The Hill This Friday

  1. The Roswell Fire Department rescued a baby fawn from a drain yesterday. Bystanders saw a doe frantically pacing a drain in the Roswell area and called the department to investigate. They found a baby deer deep in the drain. Firefighter Carter and Firefighter Landsittel were able to rescue the deer safely from the drain and reunite it with its mother. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. Get ready for a night out on the town during Roswell's Music on the Hill Free Outdoor Concert Series! The event takes place every second Friday of the month. June's event will take place this Friday, Jun. 10 at 38 Hill Street featuring the band Members Only! Spread your blanket out on city hall's lawn from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and hear some great tunes!   4. Gather your friends and family on Saturday, Jun. 25, and head to the Truck 21 Push-In Ceremony and Station 21 Open House! The ceremony involves pushing the new Truck 21 into the station. The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. at 1002 Alpharetta St. and guests are encouraged to tour the historic Station 21 and its museum, visit with firefighters, and see all the trucks housed inside!   5. A gang shooting suspect was arrested in Sandy Springs about 15 minutes outside of Roswell on Monday. According to police, Tanquevioius Lucan was wanted for a gang-related shooting in Atlanta. He was allegedly found with a handgun and extended magazine on his person at the time of the arrest. Lucan was arrested without incident. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
