FBI, Roswell Police Look For "Scruffy" Bank Robber
The suspect gave the Bank of America teller at demand note, but left on foot without any money.
ROSWELL, GA -- The FBI and the Roswell Police Department are both asking residents to help them identify a man who tried to rob a Bank of America.
The male suspect entered the facility at 10750 Alpharetta Highway in Roswell around 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19. The suspect walked into the bank and gave the teller a "demand note," the FBI said.
Described as a white male in his 40's, the suspect is believed to be between 5'8'' and 5'10'' and weighs anywhere from 165 to 175 pounds. He was also wearing all black, including a black baseball cap with a logo in front, dark-framed sunglasses and was sporting a "scruffy" beard or goatee, the FBI states.

The male left the bank on foot without any money, the agency added.
