Fellowship Christian School Basketball Players Honored

ROSWELL, GA -- Junior basketball player Cameron Swartz, who has announced her commitment to NCAA Division I University of Colorado, was named First Team All Region.

Sadie Schultz was named to the second team, while both Peyton Allen and Gabriella Austin earned honorable mention. All three are juniors.

The Lady Paladins finished the regular season 13-8 overall. The club is currently No. 22 in the state power rankings for Class A Schools in Georgia. The top 24 schools qualify for the GHSA Class A Private School Championships, which begin on Feb. 17.

Swartz (pictured in the middle of the back row) has topped 1,000 career points this season.

Fellowship opened the region tournament, being held at The Darlington School in Rome, with a 39-38 victory against Gordon Lee High School on Feb. 7. The Lady Paladins face Saint Francis in the semifinals on Feb. 10 at 3 p.m.

The finals are slated for Feb. 11 at 3 p.m.
