Fellowship Christian School Builds Soccer Legacy

Fellowship Christian School is making history by playing in and hosting both GSHA boys and girls soccer quarterfinal games on May 10th.

The Fellowship Christian School girls varsity soccer team has advanced to its sixth straight GHSA Girls Soccer Final Four.

Fellowship girls (15-1 overall) will face Stratford Academy in the semifinals on May 10. A coin flip was held following the game since both clubs are the top seeds in their Region. FCS won and will host the game that starts at 5:30 p.m.

"We are so blessed to be back in the semifinals,” head coach Tim Rice said. The Lady Paladins are ranked No. 1 among Single A teams in Georgia.

The Fellowship Christian School boys varsity soccer team also won the coin flip after their defeat of Landmark Christian School. “Landmark had an amazing game plan and came out on fire,” head coach Ari Durham said. “We are fortunate to advance to the Final Four and wouldn’t have done so without a stellar second half from both the offense and defense.”

The Paladins earned the right to host St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School of Columbus in the semifinal match at Bob Lord Field at 7:30 p.m. also on May 10th. The winner advances to the state finals being held on May 12 at Mercer University in Macon, GA.
