Fellowship Christian Students Named To All-Region Football Team

The nine students are members of the 2015 All Region Team for 6A South.

Roswell, GA -- Nine members of the Fellowship Christian School varsity football team have been named to the 2015 All Region Team for 6A South.

The first-teamers from FCS include sophomore offensive lineman Tad Aycock, junior running back Andrew Johnson, junior defensive back Jack Hardin, senior offensive lineman Reed Kroeber, senior linebacker Nick Thompson and senior kicker Jake Williamson. Sophomore offensive lineman Davis Shaw, senior linebacker Clay Buchweitz and senior fullback Tyler Matthesen were selected for the second team.

Aycock, Kroeber and Shaw opened the holes for the 5-5 Paladins to gain 2,153 rushing yards on 388 attempts. Johnson led the Paladins with 11 touchdowns, 114 rushing attempts and 661 yards. Williamson was perfect in all 36 extra-point attempts, and was 5-for-7 in field goal kicks this season.

Thompson topped the club with 23 solo tackles, 50 assisted stops and 48 total tackles. Hardin registered 17 solo tackles, which was fourth on the squad. He also finished 23 assisted tackles and 28½ total stops to place sixth overall on FCS. Buchweitz recorded 39 total stops to place second on the Paladins. He was also third with 42 assisted tackles and 18 solo stops.
