Christian's Lady Paladins Win Area Volleyball Championship
The Roswell school's varsity team won the championship with a three-set victory over Mount Pisgah Christian School.

The Fellowship Christian School varsity volleyball team captured the school’s first-ever volleyball area championship with a three-set victory over Mount Pisgah Christian School.
FCS (32-7 overall) has now won 13 consecutive matches. Fellowship defeated Mount Pisgah in the best-of-five contest.

The GHSA Single A Volleyball Tournament begins the week of Monday, Oct. 13.
The top-seeded Lady Paladins are currently ranked fourth among GHSA Single A teams in the latest Maxpreps rankings. They were the top-seeded team in the Area tournament, which began Monday.

“It was an awesome night for the school and our team,” head coach Kirbie Wallace said. “I am so proud of each and every one of these girls. They have had a terrific season.”
Prior to the match, Wallace was named Area Coach of the Year. It’s the veteran coach’s first season at FCS.
“It is a great honor,” Wallace said. “I am humbled.”
Senior AJ Baumann and sophomore Shelby Villar were all named to the All-Area Team.
The five volleyball teams at Fellowship Christian School have posted a collective record of 86-28 this season. The FCS JV White team ended the season with a 14-5 record, and the JV Blue club went 14-7 this season.
The middle school squad won 11 out of its last 14 matches, and finished 14-4 overall. The sixth- and seventh-grade team posted a 12-5 record this season. Both the middle school and sixth- and seventh-grade teams qualified for the NAML playoffs.
