Find Your Passion, Take Action: Learn Outdoor Skills at Chattahoochee Nature Center

Canoeing, camping, cooking, and more! Outdoor Skills Day will help you enjoy the outdoors by teaching you some basic outdoor skills.

Our Fall Theme is ‘Find Your Passion, Take Action’. ”Our focus in SEPTEMBER is going to be passion for the outdoors”, said Rebecca Gilbert, Senior Director of Community Programs at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. The Chattahoochee River watershed provides an amazing opportunity for residents to find a true passion of exploring and engaging in the outdoors. We are hoping that this September, we can share the many different ways that you can find your own special outdoor connection. There are a number of ways for adults and families to connect at the Chattahoochee Nature Center as fall begins to freshen the air and add color to the trees. We have just the day to experience that at our annual Outdoor Skills Day on Sunday, September 20th!”
