Fire Destroys Gym In Roswell
The cause of the fire at CrossFit Sweat Mountain remains under investigation.
ROSWELL, GA -- The Roswell Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that substantially damaged a gym on Woodstock Road on the western side of the city.
Crews responded a little after 9 p.m. Friday, June 16 to the commercial fire at CrossFit Sweat Mountain at 1400 Woodstock Road. They arrived to find the building heavily involved, said Roswell fire spokesperson Pabel Troche.
Troche said the integrity of the building had been compromised, which prevented firefighters from attacking the inside the structure.

The building sustained heavy damage, and the fire was contained within the building.
No other structures were damaged, Troche added. The investigation into the fire remains active and no foul play is suspected.
