Former Centennial Principal Named FCS Area Superintendent

Kibbey Crumbley, who was also a teacher and assistant principal at Northview High School, will serve the Northwest Learning Community.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The Fulton County School Board on Thursday approved naming Kibbey Crumbley as the area superintendent for its Northwest Learning Community.

Crumbley will take over the new role on June 1, and will be responsible for 15 elementary, five middle and five high schools in Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell.

“This is an incredible opportunity to continue my passion for building and supporting positive, student-focused cultures in the greater Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell community,” Crumbley said after the board's approval. “I am honored to be selected to serve the families in the Northwest Learning Community.”

Crumbley is a veteran educator who has spent six years as principal of Centennial High School, following nine years at Northview High School in the positions of English teacher, assistant administrator and assistant principal. She also served the district as an executive manager in the Fulton County Schools Superintendent’s Office.

“Ms. Crumbley has demonstrated a focused, collaborative approach to student learning during her career,” said Fulton County Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeff Rose. “I look forward to her continued commitment and strong leadership in this important role for our school district.”

Crumbley is married to Jeff Crumbley, and they are the proud parents of two daughters. One is a Fulton County Schools graduate, Emma Grace, and their younger daughter, Cecelia, is a junior at Johns Creek High School.
