Forum To Address East Roswell Economic Action Committee Report
The report includes topics ranging from economic planning and development, to transportation, character areas, and community facilities.
ROSWELL, GA — The City of Roswell will host a Special Called Public Forum on Monday to share the findings of the East Roswell Economic Action Committee regarding potential economic development opportunities east of Warsaw Road. The forum will be held at the East Roswell Recreation Center, 9000 Fouts Road, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
During this forum, members of the East Roswell Economic Action Committee will share findings and recommendations resulting from the committee’s work during its initial term of service from Feb. 2019 to Feb. 2020. The report includes topics ranging from economic planning and development, to transportation, character areas, and community facilities. The forum will include a question-and-answer portion, as well as an opportunity for attendees to submit written comments.
The East Roswell Economic Action Committee was established by Roswell Mayor and Council to study the eastern portion of the City and to provide the governing body with recommendations on ways to stimulate and revitalize the area. The committee comprises 10 community volunteers, most of whom live or work in east Roswell, as well as the City Administrator and Director of Community Development.

The findings that will be presented were also shared at a recent Special Called Work Session on Thursday, Feb. 20.
