Foundation Donates $2,500 To North Fulton Community Charities

BJ’s Charitable Foundation on Wednesday announced a $2,500 grant to North Fulton Community Charities, Inc., a nonprofit in Roswell that benefits the underprivileged in the area of education.

The funding will impact more than 1,100 clients served from local recipients across the state.
“BJ’s Charitable Foundation is proud to provide assistance to North Fulton Community Charities to help improve literacy among those in need,” said Jessica Newman, executive director for the BJ’s Charitable Foundation.

The $2,500 grant will provide direct service, program-related stipends to certified English as a Second Language, or ESL, teachers, who will work to increase literacy among the low-income adults served in the Workforce Readiness Training Program.
NFCC is a leader in North Fulton, offering assistance to over 5,000 families annually through various programs.
