Fulton County Students Win Shuler Hensley Awards
The Shuler Hensley Awards recognizes excellence in high school musical theatre.

ROSWELL, GA — The Fulton County School System racked up eight wins in this year's Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards. Affectionately known as the Shuler Hensley Awards, the program offers an opportunity for high school students to showcase their talents in musical theatre.
The awards, named after actor/singer and Georgia native Shuler Hensley, were created to honor Georgia high school musical theatre productions, and are a part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards program.
“We are so pleased that so many talented Fulton County Schools students were nominated for this prestigious honor,” said Fulton County Schools Fine Arts Coordinator Elizabeth Eppes. “Our student performances every year are extraordinary, and we are extremely proud of the winners, as well as those who received nominations. We are also proud of the theatre directors in Fulton schools who work hundreds of hours to ensure our students can succeed at this very high bar."
