Fulton Schools Celebrate Dedicated Volunteers

The annual Volunteer of the Year Celebration honored more than 90 volunteers in the school system.

ATLANTA, GA — The Fulton County School System held its fifth annual Volunteer of the Year Celebration Thursday at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.

Sponsored by the Atlanta Hawks, Chick-fil-A and the Georgia Department of Transportation, the 2018 awards ceremony honored nearly 90 volunteers from schools in the system. School leaders were asked to select a volunteer who has shown outstanding dedication and commitment to quality education and their school.

More than 200 principals, school leaders, school board members and volunteers from all areas of the school system are attending. Fulton County Schools volunteers of the year honored include:
