Fulton Schools Police Department Seeks New Officers

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The Fulton County Schools Police Department is looking for qualified officers to joins its ranks. The agency will host recruitment events on Saturday, April 28 and Saturday, May 5.

The April 28 event will be held at the Fulton County Schools South Learning Center while the May 5 job fair will take place at the Fulton County Schools Administrative Center. Both events are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The hiring events offer potential candidates an opportunity to learn more about joining the district’s team of school police; and highly-qualified candidates will receive informal interviews on-site. Hiring requirements for police positions include a Georgia P.O.S.T certification, a bachelor’s degree (in lieu of a degree, the department will consider two years of law enforcement experience), and advanced/specialized law enforcement, investigative, and/or supervisory experience.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the Fulton County School System website to register and reserve their spot.

The South Learning Center is located at 4025 Flat Shoals Road in Union City and the Fulton County Schools Administrative Center is located at 6201 Powers Ferry Road NW in Sandy Springs.
