Teen Accused In Goddard School Bomb Threat Charged
Roswell police said the teen intended to call in a bomb threat for another school as a prank.
ROSWELL, GA — A 13-year-old Fulton County student is being charged in connection with a Nov. 3 bomb threat made to the Goddard School, according to the Roswell Police Department.
The student is being charged on suspicion of terroristic threats and will face administrative consequences from the Fulton County School District, police said.
Authorities responded around 9 a.m. to the school in the 2000 block of Holcomb Bridge Road. Police said the school was evacuated and a canine team did not locate a suspicious device.

While investigating, police said they discovered the student who is accused of calling in the threat was riding on a Fulton County school bus at the time of the call.
The student is a Holcomb Bridge Middle School student, police said, adding the student meant to call in the threat for Holcomb Bridge Middle and not Goddard.

Police said the call is being considered a prank.
"These types of actions will not be tolerated, regardless of age. Parents are encouraged to have a frank discussion with their children about the serious consequences of foolish youthful decisions," Roswell police said.
