Fundraiser Brings Excitement of Las Vegas To Roswell

Residents can experience the thrill of Las Vegas without leaving the city when The Friends of the Roswell Parks, Inc., hosts Monte Carlo Casino Night.

The event, which will be held 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Adult Recreation Center, will raise money for a new therapeutic pool at the Center.

The pool will be for residents age 50 and older as well as special needs citizens in the community.

Tickets for this 21-and-older event are $50 per person or $75 per pair, and include one raffle ticket for the grand prize, heavy hors d’oeuvres, $5,000 in casino chips to begin your night of casino fun, a photo station to capture memories with your friends (pictures will be available for purchase) and a night of dancing with DJ Ron.

A cash bar will be open throughout the night. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase or by cashing in your chips at the end of the night. Casino action will include blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker.

Guests will also have a chance to enter in a 50/50 raffle and bid on items such as event tickets, sports memorabilia, vacation packages, and more during a silent auction.

The Adult Recreation Center is located at 830 Grimes Bridge Road.
