GDOT To Begin Resurfacing S.R. 92 in Roswell

ROSWELL, GA -- Motorists who rely on Highway 92 in Roswell should take note of a resurfacing project that will soon begin.

The Georgia Department of Transportation will begin repaving the road, known locally as Crossville Road, from the Cobb County line to S.R. 9/Alpharetta Highway.

The project is anticipated to start March 28 and take two to three weeks to complete, weather permitting. All work will be done at night between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., the city of Roswell said.

The project involves milling, paving, and restriping the road, as well as replacing traffic detection devices.

Travelers are reminded that loose debris is a natural part of any process involving milling and preparation of the road surface and to use caution when traveling through the area.
