Gilbert and Sheppard Group Clients Win Thirteen OBIEs at 2015 GAHBA Event

Betsy Sheppard and Kerrie Gilbert of Gilbert & Sheppard Group celebrate that four of their clients won a total of thirteen OBIE Awards at the annual Awards Gala hosted by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) on November 7. The OBIE Awards are the premier awards in Atlanta’s new home construction industry and recognize outstanding achievement in new home building, marketing, remodeling and personal achievement categories.

Eight Gold and Five Silver OBIES for Gilbert & Sheppard Group Clients

On behalf of their client Park Springs, Atlanta’s premier retirement community, Gilbert & Sheppard Group won two Gold OBIEs: Gold for Best Audio Spot as well as Gold for Best Flyer/Mailer.

“As part of our overall marketing strategy using digital ads, direct mail, blogging, social media and event marketing, the 2015 first quarter radio spots and event mailers created for Park Springs contributed to the highest lead volume for one quarter in the history of this community,” says Kerrie Gilbert, creative director and co-owner of Gilbert & Sheppard Group. “To win Gold for both entries for Park Springs further validates our use of testimonial-based messaging and relevant topics of interest in our marketing efforts.”

Team Work

Gilbert & Sheppard Group collaborated on projects with two clients, Lennar Atlanta and Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta that each resulted in a Gold OBIE for Best Marketing Campaign / Promotion for a Builder and for an Associate, respectively.

In addition, Lennar Atlanta received four more OBIEs: a Gold for Best Application of Social Media; a Gold for Best Community Sales Center; a Silver for Best Single Family Attached Home; and Silver for Best Model Home Sales Office.

Gilbert & Sheppard Group’s client Haven Design Works, the Atlanta-based interior design firm specializing in model home merchandising, won a total of five awards: two Gold OBIEs for their work with Edward Andrews Homes plus three Silver OBIEs with Ryland Homes for Best Interior Merchandising.
