Preschoolers Take Part in 'Root For Earth' Campaign

Preschoolers at The Goddard School in Roswell participated in the 5th annual Root For Earth campaign, which was held April 20-24.

Preschoolers at The Goddard School in Roswell along with over 420 other Goddard School locations nationwide, celebrated the 5th Annual Root for Earth campaign from April 20–24.

During Root for Earth week, students across the nation participated in hands-on activities which included building community gardens, creating a recycled art show, putting on a recycled fashion show and other engaging upcycling projects.

These projects foster creativity and imagination while reinforcing The Goddard School philosophy of teaching learning through play.

Additionally, all 400+ Goddard Schools across the country went Lights Out on Earth Day, turning off all non-essential lighting for one hour at 10am.

Root for Earth is designed to create a foundation for children to grow into environmentally responsible adults and create a more sustainable, healthier and happier Earth for genera­tions to come.
