Golden Goals Awards Luncheon
InCommunity to host the 8th Annual Awards Ceremony
Atlanta, Georgia: InCommunity will host its annual Golden Goals Awards Luncheon on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 11am until 1pm at The Metropolitan Club on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta. The awards event is a time to recognize individuals and advocates in the DD (developmental disability) community who have made extraordinary advancements in the past year. Golden Goals is a production of InCommunity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Atlanta that partners to enrich and sustain the lives of individuals who have developmental disabilities, their families, and their communities.

Darren Youngstrom, the Director of InsideOut, the High School Ministry of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, will serve as keynote speaker for the event.
The sold-out event will host more than 340 guests. Entertainment will be provided by five InCommunity singers, Roswell High School Chamber Chorus and Akrosphere Aerial & Circus Arts performers who will pose for photos and perform.

This year more than 80 nominees were submitted and all nominees have been invited to attend the event as a complimentary guest and will receive recognition for shining in the DD community. Awards will be presented to winners from different categories for achievements in arts, teamwork, advocacy and community involvement.

InCommunity is the merged organization of Georgia Community Support & Solutions and enAble of Georgia. The two organizations with similar missions and programs began partnering in 2014 and announced the new merged organization name in April 2018.
