Hardscrabble Road Sidewalk Construction Begins In Roswell
Construction is expected to start on April 10 and will last approximately 90 days, weather permitting.
ROSWELL, GA -- The City of Roswell will soon begin construction of a new sidewalk from Etris Road to Rucker Road along the western side of Hardscrabble Road. Construction is expected to start on April 10 and will last approximately 90 days, weather permitting. The roadway will remain open throughout the duration of the project, although intermittent lane closures may occur as needed to accommodate construction.
This sidewalk, which will range in width from five to eight feet, fills a half-mile gap and will allow for pedestrian connectivity from Roswell’s city limits at Arnold Mill Road to King Road. The sidewalk will also connect to the Hardscrabble Green Loop, a “complete street” project, featuring intersection improvements, sidewalks, bikes lanes, and a multi-use trail.
The cost for this city-funded improvement is approximately $268,485.85.
