Harvest on the Hooch Returns to Roswell on Sunday
The event, a fundraiser for the Chattahoochee Nature Center, will feature food, brews, music and children's activities.

ROSWELL, GA -- Guests of all ages are invited to attend the Chattahoochee Nature Center's annual outdoor food and brew event.
Harvest on the Hooch, which celebrates the connection between the garden and the plate, will be held Sunday, Oct. 16.
A fundraiser for the Center's Unity Garden and programming, Harvest on the Hooch will also include local restaurants and breweries, Bluegrass music, farm animals, garden games and tours of the Unity Garden.

The garden supplies more than five tons of fresh produce annually to North Fulton Community Charities food pantry and serves as a learning facility for local children.
Samples from the top local chefs are paired with local craft beers while guests enjoy live entertainment in the garden. Families are encouraged to attend this special afternoon garden party, which also includes kid-friendly activities.

Entertainment include Georgia Jug Huggers and the Bluegrass Sound Band. Local breweries include the Abbey of the Holy Goats, Gate City Brewing Company and Unknown Brewery.
Participating restaurants in this year’s fundraiser include Avalon Catering, Avenue Catering Concepts, The Big Ketch, Chef Cary’s Cuisine LLC, D.B.A. Barbecue, Drift House Fish House & Oyster Bar, Foundation Social Eatery, Low Country Catering, Mill Kitchen and Bar, Prissy’s Cakes, Red Sky, Seed Kitchen & Bar, Table & Main, Talk of the Town Catering and Whole Foods Market.
The event kicks off at 1 p.m., with a VIP event scheduled for noon. The VIP pre-party takes place on the Green Roof of the Discovery Center. Tickets are $100 per person, and the event will feature Chef Brian So of the new Spring Restaurant in Marietta.
Tickets for Harvest on the Hooch are $45 for adults in advance and $55 at the door. Children age 11 to 18 are $15, and those age 10 and younger will be admitted for free.
Tickets are on sale now at www.harvestonthehooch.org or by calling 770-992-2055 x 226 or 225. The Chattahoochee Nature Center is located at 9135 Willeo Road, and free parking will be made available.
Additional off-site parking will be offered with a free shuttle service from St. Francis School located close by at 9375 Willeo Road.
