ROSWELL, GA -- The city of Roswell will celebrate National Historic Preservation Month with Heritage Days in May, its annual, month-long event series featuring the people, places and events that make up our community.

“This annual tradition is a fun way for us to showcase all the historic places in Roswell and celebrate their importance to our community’s past, present and future,” said Katherine Jones, cultural services ,anager for the Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department. “We are excited for this year’s lineup of events and exhibits and encourage all our community members to participate.”

- Roswell Photographic Society’s 13th Annual Roswell Heritage Juried Photographic Exhibit
- Atlanta Wind Symphony Concert entitled “¿Habla Español?”
- Curated exhibit featuring Civil War artifacts and other items from the city of Roswell’s archives
- “Mommy and Me” Tea with special guest Sleeping Beauty at Bulloch Hall
- Tea with Beatrix Potter and historic garden tours at Barrington Hall
- Open Hearth Cooking Demonstrations at Smith Plantation
- Mother’s Day Open House at Southern Trilogy Historic House Museums (free admission)
- Roswell Remembers Memorial Day Service with music by the Atlanta Wind Symphony at City Hall
- Works In Clay Show and Sale at Art Center West
