HoneyBaked Ham Co. to Feed 1,800 Hungry Children in North Fulton
Marietta, GA—Over the course of two days in June, the HoneyBaked Ham Co. of Georgia will be preparing, packing and delivering 1,800 ham sandwich lunches to the MUST Ministries Summer Lunch program. MUST provides a daily meal to children in the North Atlanta area who may not have adequate access to food during the summer months. The donated lunches will be served to children living near the HoneyBaked Ham Co. headquarters in Alpharetta.
The MUST Summer Lunch Program feeds 6,000-7,000 children in eight Metro-Atlanta counties who receive free or reduced school lunch and who may lose the promise of a stable meal once the school year ends. In Fulton County, 46% of children fall into this category.

HoneyBaked Ham Co.’s donation of 900 lunches on June 4 and another 900 on June 18 will independently feed 13-15% of all the children that MUST serves on those days.
“We are thrilled to partner with such a great organization,” says HoneyBaked Ham President Maggie DeCan. “It is an honor for our mission of ‘celebrating life, one meal at a time’ to be realized in meals that will keep the youngest causalities of poverty from hunger this summer.”
