Household Hazardous Waste Collection Returns To Roswell
The city's Public Works/Environmental Department will host the event on Saturday, Oct. 15.

ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell's Public Works/Environmental Department will host a household hazardous waste collection event next weekend.
The city's event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 15 at 1810 Hembree Road.
- Please note this event will not be held at the Roswell Recycling Center.
This event is for Roswell residents only - no commercial entities, please.

Items that will be accepted during the event include:
- Paint thinner/turpentine
- Pesticides including: fertilizers, herbicides, flea and tick products, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides
- Undiluted pool chemicals
- Household cleaners
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Propane gas cylinders
- Mercury thermometers/thermostats
- Household batteries (non-rechargeable)
- Aerosols including aerosol paint
- Automotive brake fluid/used motor oil filters (no other automotive fluids)
No latex or oil-based paint will be accepted at this event; residents can take those items to the Recycling Center during normal operating hours.

The CARE Environmental Corporation will be handling and disposing of the materials. Materials cannot be dropped off prior to the event.
