Household Hazardous Waste Collection Set For June 10
The city of Roswell will host its event on June 10 at its Public Works/Transportation/Fire facilities at 1810 Hembree Road.

ROSWELL, GA -- If you are late to the spring cleaning party, the city of Roswell will offer another chance for you to dump various items taking up space in your home.
Roswell will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 10 at its Public Works/Transportation/Fire facilities.
The event is for Roswell residents only; no commercial entities will be allowed to participate. Residents can drop off various items at 1810 Hembree Road, including:

- Paint thinner/turpentine
- Pesticides including: fertilizers, herbicides, flea and tick products, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides
- Undiluted pool chemicals
- Household cleaners
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Propane gas cylinders
- Mercury thermometers/thermostats
- Household batteries (non-rechargeable)
- Aerosols including aerosol paint
- Automotive brake fluid/used motor oil filters (no other automotive fluids)
No latex or oil-based paint will be accepted. Residents can bring these items to the Roswell Recycling Center.
The CARE Environmental Corporation will be handling and disposing of the materials. Materials cannot be dropped off prior to the event.
