Household Hazardous Waste Recycling On March 3 In Roswell
The event, which is for Roswell residents, will be held at the city's Public Works/Transportation/Fire Facilities on Hembree Road.

ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Public Works/Environmental Department on Saturday will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event for its residents. This event, which has historically been popular among citizens, will be held March 3 at its Public Works/Transportation/Fire Facilities.
Commercial entities are asked not to attend Saturday's event, as it will cater to city residents. The collection drive, which will not be held at the Roswell Recycling Center, will from from 9 a.m. to noon.
Items accepted include:

- Paint thinner/turpentine
- Pesticides including: fertilizers, herbicides, flea and tick products, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides
- Undiluted pool chemicals
- Household cleaners
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Propane gas cylinders
- Mercury thermometers/thermostats
- Household batteries (non-rechargeable)
- Aerosols including aerosol paint
- Automotive brake fluid/used motor oil filters (no other automotive fluids)
No latex paint or oil-based paint will be accepted. Residents can drop these items off at the city's Recycling Center.
The CARE Environmental Corporation will be handling and disposing of the materials. Materials cannot be dropped off prior to the event.
