Ice Cream Social Planned For New River Eves Students
The Roswell elementary school's annual event will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2.

ROSWELL, GA -- Rising kindergartners, new students, their families and caregivers are invited attend River Eves Elementary School's annual ice cream social. The event will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 in Roswell.
The social is an opportunity for these students to meet the kindergarten teachers and principal Neil Pinnock, make friends with other new students and families, learn more about the STEM certified school and enjoy cool treats.
“Our STEM school has been updated, and we’re excited to welcome our newest Eagles inside and tell them about our STEM curriculum, project-based learning, back-to-school events and more,” said Principal Pinnock.

River Eves spirit wear merchandise will be available and families may also sign-up for the PTA, learn about our Calling All Dads program and the school from other parents.
River Eves, located at 9000 Eves Road in Roswell, became a STEM-certified school in 2015, the first Fulton County School to achieve this designation.

The school has earned numerous accolades, including two Reward School Titles for Highest-Performing Title I School.
