The concert will be held at 8 p.m. Aug. 22.

Savino is not your grandaddy’s banjo player, and Tall Tall Trees is definitely not your average indie-folk outfit from New York City. A pioneer in the world of experimental and psychedelic banjo music, Mike Savino has released two records and one EP on his own label, Good Neighbor Records: Tall Tall Trees (2009), moment (2012), and The Seasonal EP (2014).

In addition to Tall Tall Trees, the remainder of the LIVE! in Roswell 2015-2016 season lineup includes:

Friday, Oct. 23: Nikki Lane
Growing up in South Carolina, Nikki Lane loved her mom’s Motown records and her dad’s country cassettes, but she’d also sneak to see alt-rock and punk shows. All those influences are evident in her new album, All or Nothin’, which was produced by the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach.

Saturday, Dec. 19: M-PACT
What could be more perfect than M-PACT for the holidays? As seen on the PBS “Christmas from LA” special, the warmth and elegance of M-PACT pairs perfectly with an evening of holiday favorites. You can’t help but get in the holiday spirit as the guys perform selections from their award-winning Christmas album, The Carol Commission.

Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016: The Blind Boys of Alabama
The Blind Boys are recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. Celebrated by The National Endowment for the Arts and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) with Lifetime Achievement Awards, inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and recognized with five GRAMMY Awards, they have attained the highest levels of achievement.

Saturday, May 7, 2016: Hooking Up with The Second City
The Second City knows a few things about love - they’ve been laughing about relationships for more than 55 years. Hooking Up with The Second City makes mirth out of missed connections, girls’ night out adventures, and all the crazy things we do for love. This gaspingly funny revue is a modern mix of romance, rancor and everything in between.

Saturday, June 11, 2016: Edwin McCain
Edwin McCain’s voice is everywhere. At any given moment, a radio station is playing one of his songs. An American Idol hopeful is belting out “I’ll Be.” A newlywed couple is dancing to “I Could Not Ask for More.” McCain’s innate ability to write and perform songs that somehow every listener claims as his or her own has made him one of the most enduring and downright likable entertainers of our generation.

Tickets for all shows are available at www.roswellcac.com.
