In Memory: William G. Brown, U.S Army Veteran

William G. Brown, 84, of Roswell, passed away on Feb. 22, 2014. Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and a long-time Pennsylvania resident, he moved to the Atlanta area in 1999. A 1953 graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, he also served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Thompson Brown; two sons, William G. Brown, Jr. (and wife Diana) and David T. Brown (and wife Teedie); and a daughter, Patricia O. Brown (and husband Steve). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Katherine Brown Shelton, Lauren Brown, Jennifer Brown and Angela Thomas.

A private family memorial service has been planned. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill’s memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
