ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell’s historic Barrington Hall will continue its fifth year of hosting children’s creative writing summer camps in June and July.

The camps are designed for children ages 10-14, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

- June 20–24: Beginner’s Camp
- June 27–July 1: Beginner’s Camp
- July 11–15: Beginner’s Camp
- July 18–22: Advanced Camp
- July 25–29: Advanced Camp
The camps are led by award-winning children’s book author Mary Ann Rodman. In 2010, Rodman’s young adult novel Yankee Girl was chosen for inclusion in the Georgia Center for the Books’ inaugural list of “25 Books All Young Georgians Should Read.” Rodman uses guided exercises, along with field trips that inspire and encourage creative thinking, to teach participants how to tell stories clearly while engaging their audience.
The cost per child is $250, and space is limited to 15 children per camp.
