Preschool Donates 40 Backpacks To North Fulton Community Charities

Primrose School of Roswell North was thrilled to donate 40 school supply-filled backpacks to less fortunate children in the community.

ROSWELL, GA – Teachers, staff and families from Primrose School of Roswell North demonstrated their commitment to giving back last week by partnering with North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) for the preschool’s inaugural Primrose Promise℠ Day of Giving event.

Throughout July, families donated school supplies to fill backpacks that Primrose Roswell purchased. After the supplies were collected, children in the school lovingly packed 40 backpacks with the supplies “for our friends who need help,” as one student explained.

Preschoolers then stuffed the bus full of backpacks amidst cheers from their friends and watched as the bus drove away to drop off the donations. NFCC will distribute the supply-filled backpacks to low-income children in the North Fulton community with the tools they need to succeed academically.

“At Primrose, giving without expecting is ingrained in who we are and the lessons we teach children,” said Lynn Manning, owner of Primrose School Roswell North. “Our Day of Giving is one way we bring this ideal to life. Not only are we able to give back to our wonderful community, but it also gives our staff and the families we serve an opportunity to come together and support local organizations in a fun and meaningful way.”

The Day of Giving is the newest addition to the school’s Primrose Promise giving efforts, which include several annual fundraising events and ongoing charity partnerships that benefit children and families in need locally and nationwide. During the month of July, Primrose schools across the country are hosting Day of Giving events with the goal of creating a brighter future for all children.
