'Lords of the Boards' Workshop Shows Teens How To Master Chess

The East Roswell Library is calling all youth between the age of 11 and 17 to participate in the “Lords of the Board” teen chess workshops.

Back by popular demand, the workshops will be held Mondays at 3 p.m. June 29, July 13, and July 27.

Parents are asked to register their children separately for each session. The workshop will allow teens to explore the adventure of chess, where anyone could capture a king. All playing levels, including beginners, are welcome.

The workshops are geared towards rising sixth through 12th-grade students Reservations required, and the program is free.
