Lori Henry Gains Endorsements From Zapata, Palermo
Lori Henry and Marie Willsey will face off in the April 18 special election to fill the Post 4 seat on the Roswell City Council.
ROSWELL, GA -- Two incumbents on the Roswell City Council have come out and endorsed Lori Henry, one of two candidates voters will consider as they head to the polls for the April 18 special election runoff.
Marcelo Zapata and Mike Palermo are endorsing Henry's bid to win the vacant Post 4 seat on the Council.
“All candidates running for Council are good people and I believe they solely want to serve our community," Palermo said. "Democracy is strengthened when we as voters have choices, and I will applaud the election winner, period. I have been asked who is receiving my vote and I have decided to post it to hopefully start a cordial conversation. I recognize that we do not all have the same priorities."

Palermo said he's supporting Henry because she "supports my fight to protect our neighborhoods" and is an independent voice who will only be accountable to the people.
"I don't believe someone in a local legislative branch should feel in debt to the executive branch," Palermo said.
