ROSWELL, GA -- Police in New York say a man walked into their facility and confessed to a fatal Roswell shooting that took place nearly five years ago.

That's according to Lohud.com, which said the 37-year-old subject went to the Scarsdale police station the morning of Friday, Jan. 6 and confessed to the shooting.

While Scarsdale police did not identify the suspect, Westchester County Jail inmate records show Dozier, also known as Kwame Dozier, is being held on charges of being a fugitive from justice, the media outlet reports.
