ROSWELL, GA -- A Newton County man has been charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old Roswell girl.

Detectives have arrested Eric Jason Champion, 42, of Covington and charged him with statutory rape and enticing a child for indecent purposes, both of which are felonies, police records show.
