Meet Fulton County's Pets of the Week: Shirley and Cherrio

Meet a super social kitten who loves dogs and a puppy who is smart and cheerful. Both are waiting for you at the shelter.

Looking for that purrfect kitty to adopt? Then meet our first Pet of the Week – Shirley.

This four-month-old kitten is easily the most social cat at our shelter. She is very popular with staff and volunteers, according to her foster mom, this precious little girl loves to “play and snuggle and play some more.” Surely also loves dogs, so if you have a cat-friendly dog, she will become his best buddy. Shirley is super affectionate, loves to purr and has won all of the volunteers over. She also plays well with other cats, likes all children and has never met a stranger. Come meet this social butterfly today!

Our next Pet of the Week is Cherrio, a nine-month-old puppy who has an adorable, goofy face that is hard to resist. Cherrio loves to run and play with other dogs, kids and grownups. He is also super cheerful and brighten everyone’s day who meets him. Cherrio is smart and eager to please, so he will be very easy to train. He is also the perfect medium size and will be a great attention to any home. Come by and get to know this wonderful boy today!

If you adopt either Shirley or Cherrio during September, you can take advantage of our “Fall in Love” promotion, and their adoption fees will be FREE! This includes their spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip – a $250 value!
