Missing Elderly Couple Found In Alabama: Roswell Police
An elderly couple driving from North Carolina to Roswell were reported missing when they didn't arrive on time to a Roswell home.
ROSWELL, GA — A missing elderly couple en route to visit family in Roswell was found in Alabama, according to police.
“This Thanksgiving afternoon, we are very thankful to be able to report that the Brysons have been located by our law enforcement partners in Fayette County, Alabama, and are in the process of being reunited with family,” Roswell police said in a statement. “Thank you to our public and media partners who assisted in our search to bring the Brysons safely home.”
On Thanksgiving the Roswell Police department announced that they were searching for the couple who didn’t have their phones on them. Vivian Bryson, age 77, and her husband Winford Bryson, age 81, left their home in North Carolina on Nov. 24 to visit family in Roswell for Thanksgiving, according to police. They were expected around 4 p.m. to a house on the 200 block of Wexford Overlook Drive. But when they didn’t arrive, the family became worried. Vivian is known to suffer from severe memory loss, and Winford is severely hearing-impaired.
