The More or Less Players, a Roswell Ramblers senior acting troupe, will present the delightful comic melodrama, “Cornfield of Dreams – Or the Villain Was a Laughing Stalk” by Rachel Davidson, at the Roswell Adult Recreation Center April 24-26.
Members of this award-winning senior acting troupe have been performing in plays since 2007 at senior living communities, senior centers, a community theater and the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. The troupe not only acts, but also selects the plays, creates the sets, designs the costumes, and handles publicity.

Jeannie Hinds, formerly of Kudzu Playhouse, is the director of the current play.
“Cornfield of Dreams” is written in a melodrama format with a handsome hero, a beautiful heroine, a dastardly villain and a number of other hilarious characters. Presented in costumes from the early 1900s, the play features an endless stream of corny puns. To further re-create the theater experience of that time period, there will be ‘olios’ — comic skits, poems, songs and jokes — between acts.
